Dear Parents,

     Our new carpool process is going very well. Here are a few reminders:

1. A sign is required in each windshield.
2. We must maintain a single file line at all times while on Stein and Provident. This is a police requirement of maintaining an open flow of traffic because we are in the middle of a neighborhood.
3. Absolutely no cell phone usage while in carpool.

Attendance Period for AYP

September 8th was the beginning of the 20 day attendance period that ends on October 6th. This attendance period requiring 95% or above attendance in order to meet NCLB's AYP requirement. It is absolutely essential that children are present and accounted for during this time period. Please make every effort to ensure your child's is in attendance unless sick. Thanks

Lunch Accounts

School messenger will begin calling students who have a low balance on their lunch account on Sunday. This is to help remind you to send money with your child on Monday. Remember that the students cannot charge lunch to their accounts.
